On Stage at Experts Live Europe
I had the privilege of joining a panel at Experts Live Europe 2024 in Budapest to discuss the future of AI in the enterprise and how Azure AI Foundry is shaping that journey.
On September 23–24, 2024, I had the honor of being part of Experts Live Europe in Budapest, one of the premier community-driven conferences for IT professionals and technology leaders. This year’s conference was packed with insightful sessions on cloud, DevOps, security, and, of course, artificial intelligence.

I was invited to join a panel discussion titled: “The Future of AI in the Enterprise: Opportunities and Challenges with Azure AI Foundry.”
The Panel: A Holistic Look at AI in the Enterprise
The goal of the panel was to cut through the hype around AI and provide a grounded, 360° perspective on how enterprises are actually adopting AI at scale. Our panel brought together voices from across the spectrum developers, architects, data scientists, and business leaders—making it a rich and well-rounded conversation.
Here’s what we explored:
-
What Enterprises Are Getting Right (and Wrong): We unpacked common pitfalls in AI adoption, from overestimating short-term results to underestimating the need for governance and change management.
-
Responsible AI and Governance: A major theme was building AI responsibly—ensuring compliance, fairness, and transparency when deploying models in sensitive enterprise environments.
-
Real-World Azure AI Foundry Case Studies: We highlighted production stories where Azure AI Foundry has accelerated innovation while also simplifying lifecycle management for AI models.
-
The Role of Multi-Agent Systems: Looking 3–5 years ahead, we discussed how agent-based and orchestration patterns could transform enterprise AI workflows, enabling more autonomous and adaptive systems.
-
Skills & Roles for AI at Scale: Beyond the technology, we addressed the evolving skills enterprises need prompt engineers, AI solution architects, and cross-functional teams that can bridge business and technical domains.
The Experience
Being on stage with such a diverse group of experts was both energizing and humbling. The panel format allowed us to challenge each other’s views, share hard-learned lessons, and spotlight what’s really happening in the trenches of enterprise AI.
The audience Q&A was particularly engaging participants asked about cost optimization strategies, the balance between open-source and proprietary models, and how organizations can avoid “pilot purgatory” to achieve real business impact.
Why This Conversation Matters
Enterprises are past the experimental stage with AI; they’re looking for scalable, responsible, and cost-effective adoption. Azure AI Foundry is proving to be a powerful platform for this journey, but it takes more than tools—it requires governance frameworks, cross-team collaboration, and forward-looking strategies.
This panel was a reminder that the future of AI in the enterprise isn’t just about technology it’s about people, process, and vision.
Gratitude
A huge thank you to the organizers of Experts Live Europe 2024 for creating such a vibrant event, and to my fellow panelists for the thought-provoking discussion. It was an absolute privilege to share the stage in Budapest and to contribute to the dialogue on what it really takes to succeed with AI in the enterprise.
